Traditional Western Attire

There were many things that we could have had to make it look more like a western such as a Stetson or bandana but we felt that it wouldn’t fit and these additional pieces of the costume would make it look odd. The Stetson and bandana would have made it look too old and would have ruined the modern approach we are aiming for. We could have also used a variety of coats such as: frock coats, Ponchos and fringe jackets. These all look too old and wouldn’t fit very well so we haven’t chosen any.

As you can see, the most common colour tends to be the sandy/wheat colour. This is because westerns are often seen to be set out in the wilderness and deserts. As our setting is within a town, we have chosen to go for slightly more modern colours but with our other characters we will have more noticeable western colours
